Elephants are found in South Africa in tropical deserts.
They mainly eat leaves and grass in the morning.
The elephant’s predators are mainly man and poachers. When the elephants are sick lions will hunt them.
They can use there tusks for many different things.
Male elephants weigh up to 13,200 pounds.
The population of elephants can be about 400,000 to 600,000.
The elephant can get very thirsty and can have up to 200 litres of water!
Elephants can live in family formations of between 6 and 200 animals in the wild.
They are very creative and suck up water with its trunk and then spray it in its mouth to drink.
